RAINBOW DREAMS ★

I’m sure most of you have heard about the “mommy porn” erotic novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, yes? (if not, read here) I’ve first learned about this book from Mo Twister’s tweets and when he mentioned it on-air (I think). After hearing that the book was originally developed from a Twilight fan fiction work entitled Master of the Universe then reworked as an original piece, it caught my attention because well, I’m a fan of the Twilight Saga books.

I was actually expecting the male lead character, Christian Grey, to be a vampire or something supernatural hearing as it was a “fan fiction” based on Twilight. I laughed at myself internally after realizing halfway through the book that he was nothing like it.

Boy, was I surprised after reading the contents! Whew, intense!!! Never in a million years have I envisioned doing something of sorts. The “intense” parts were most of the time a drag for me.. I just wanted to get on and read the romantic bits! Hihi. *blush*

I love the Fifty Shades Trilogy don’t get me wrong, but sometimes the redundancy of the words are just annoying. But nevertheless, it’s a really really good read! You’ll be hooked! I was practically breathing Fifty Shades for almost 6 days with very little sleep. I would stay up ‘till 6am the next morning, sleep, then wake up and read again. True story!

Spoilers aside, I do hope E.L. James decides to write another book ala Midnight Sun. I’d love to be inside Christian Grey’s thoughts. Mmmmmm. ;) Like many readers, I cannot wait for the film adaptation of this trilogy. I’m very much excited to see who would play who!

Arrived at Laiya with DIT (blockmates) around 7pm last April 11 from Mj’s place in Batangas. (Can’t remember where exactly. Hehe) As soon as we were settled in our cottage, we finally relax on the shore. Ahhhhhhh! :)

Sky lanterns!!! <3

We were surprised when the resort management handed out sky lanterns to every room for vacationers to light. It was really nice watching the lanterns glide over the sea with our heart-felt wishes. ♥

Afterwards, we had drinks sitting by our beach bonfire. T’was really really nice. Ahhhhhhh life at the beach! :)

Next time, I’ll remember to bring the marshmallows!
